American Idol reunites Celine & Elvis [audio/video]

Watch Celine Dion and Elvis Presley sing a duet at the American Idol Gives Back show.  Celine appeared to walk out and stand next to Elvis as the two sang “If I Can Dream.”  It was all done with a hologram that was said to have cost between $50,000 and $100,000 to create.  Prior to the performance, Celine practiced with an Elvis impersonator.

  3. Oh good god! It was NOT a hologram! Are you people mental? It was done with clever digital editing using footage of Elvis from a 1968 tv special. You couldn’t get a holographic image without photographing them from every angle, in motion–something they can’t even do now, much less in 1968! Here’s the real scoop, from the NY Post:

    This viral Internet BlogFraud has gone on long enough! Stop saying it was a hologram as though it’s a fact when just the opposite is true!
